Εισαγωγή
Το Associate in Science in Nutrition and Dietetics for Transfer εισάγει τους μαθητές στις αρχές και τις μεθοδολογίες που χρησιμοποιούνται στη μελέτη της διατροφής και της διαιτολογίας. Οι μαθητές θα αποκτήσουν τις θεμελιώδεις γνώσεις που είναι απαραίτητες για την απόκτηση πτυχίου στη διατροφή και τη διαιτολογία.
Για να αποκτήσει πτυχίο Associate of Science in Nutrition for Transfer, ένας φοιτητής πρέπει να ολοκληρώσει μονάδες 60 εξαμήνων που είναι επιλέξιμες για μεταφορά στο σύστημα CSU που αποτελείται από το πρότυπο IGETC ή το εύρος CSU GE και μια κύρια 18 μονάδες επιπλέον.
Οι μαθητές πρέπει να έχουν ελάχιστο ΣΔΣ 2,0 σε όλα τα μεταβιβάσιμα από το CSU μαθήματα για να λάβουν πτυχίο συνεργάτη για μετεγγραφή και όλα τα μαθήματα στην κύρια πρέπει να έχουν ολοκληρωθεί με C ή καλύτερο.
Οι φοιτητές που κερδίζουν πτυχίο συνεργάτη για μετεγγραφή δεν θα απαιτείται να συμπληρώσουν άλλες τοπικές απαιτήσεις αποφοίτησης.
Τι είναι το AS-T;
Το Associate in Science for Transfer (AS-T) προορίζεται για φοιτητές που σχεδιάζουν να μεταφερθούν και να ολοκληρώσουν πτυχίο πανεπιστημίου σε παρόμοια κατεύθυνση σε μια πανεπιστημιούπολη CSU. Φοιτητές που ολοκληρώνουν αυτά τα πτυχία μετεγγραφής:
- θα κερδίσει πτυχίο συνεργάτη από Mission College ;
- έχουν εγγυημένη είσοδο σε παρόμοια κύρια σε μια πανεπιστημιούπολη στο σύστημα CSU·
- θα είναι έτοιμοι να ξεκινήσουν μαθήματα ανώτερου τμήματος στο CSU.
- και δεν θα χρειαστεί να ολοκληρώσει περισσότερες από 60 μονάδες μετά τη μεταφορά.

Αποτέλεσμα προγράμματος
- Οι μαθητές θα εξηγήσουν φυσιολογικές διεργασίες όπως η πέψη, η απορρόφηση, η μεταφορά και ο μεταβολισμός των θρεπτικών ουσιών.
- Οι μαθητές θα αναλύσουν κριτικά πληροφορίες σχετικά με τη διατροφή και θα διαχωρίσουν τις επιστημονικά υποστηριζόμενες πληροφορίες από την παραπληροφόρηση.
- Οι μαθητές θα αναλύσουν και θα εξηγήσουν τη σχέση μεταξύ της διατροφής, του τρόπου ζωής και των αποτελεσμάτων υγείας, στο πλαίσιο των πολιτιστικών και κοινωνικών επιρροών.

To earn this degree, students must meet the following requirements:
- Completion of the following major courses with grades of C or P or better.
- Completion of 60 CSU-transferable semester units with a grade point average of at least 2.0; and
- Certified completion of either the California State University General Education Breadth pattern (CSU GE-B) or the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC).
